About

The Rockman EXE Zone is a MegaMan Battle Network/Rockman EXE fansite first launched on August 12, 2006. The website was founded by Greiga Master and MegaRockEXE after they shut down their predecessor site. The website grew in popularity when the first battle hacking guide for Battle Network 6 appeared. This spawned an active community for the Battle Network fanbase.

While other Battle Network communities were quickly dying off, TREZ was growing and is currently the largest Battle Network fansite on the Internet. Six years after the site was launched, TREZ was relaunched at therockmanexezone.com and is host to many wonderful resources you won’t find anywhere else.

This is the home for TREZ. The website layout was originally designed by MegaRockEXE as part of a school project back in November of 2011. Without website developers, the site never fully materialized. TREZ forum member Timaeus initially completed a page with the look he designed shortly after the design was publicized. However, the site did not function as intended and the prototype was scrapped.
After a brief hiatus, MegaRockEXE came in contact with comfyred, a reddit user and web developer from Australia. Work picked up slowly but sped up towards the once the site was moved to WordPress. Some members of TREZ assisted by providing hosting and eventually helping comfyred move the site to its final home. Later, the hosting was taken over by well-respected TREZ member Mgamerz.
