Gift from Lady
In Chapter 1 only, talk to a lady in ACDC Town and answer Yes to receive a Recov30 R chip.
Gift from Mayl
In Chapter 8, after completing the story, talk to Mayl in Mayl's House to receive a RollSP R chip.
Competition Training
Starting in Chapter 3, a Navi in Registration Machine Comp can be challenged to receive a reward (bottom-right of map). The virus battles and reward will change every chapter but the reward can only be obtained once per chapter.
