Mega Man Star Force 3 is the final game in the Mega Man Star Force series. Going out with a big bang, the game reworks the series' visual presentation, introduces dynamic gameplay mechanics, and brings back Battle Network's customization cards as Noise Mod Gear.

In Japan, first prints of Ryusei no Rockman 3 came with a White Card based on the version purchased; High-Speed Black Ace and Powered Red Joker.

The game’s 7 story chapters are denoted by these respective bosses at the end:

  1. Spade Magnus
  2. Diamond Ice
  3. Club Strong
  4. Queen Virgo
  5. Jack Corvus
  6. Dread Joker
  7. Final Boss
