In Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge, the player can select to play 6 different operator storylines: Lan (MegaMan), Mayl (Roll), Dex (GutsMan), Chaud (ProtoMan), Kai (TurboMan), or Mary (Ring). There are a few differences in gameplay depending on the operator chosen.
Battle Differences
Depending on the character selected, some opponents will be swapped with a different character, and sometimes a different loadout.
Since battles has been changed, different characters will obtain certain Navi Chip at different points of the game.
Guts | Healing | Master | |
---|---|---|---|
Lan | GutsMan | Roll | ProtoMan |
Mayl | GutsMan | ColorMan | ProtoMan |
Dex | MetalMan | Roll | MegaMan |
Chaud | GutsMan | Roll | MegaMan |
Kai | GutsMan | Roll | MegaMan |
Mary | GutsMan | Roll | MegaMan |
HackersN Open #10 | HackersN Open #20 | HackersN Open #30 | HackersN Open #40 | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Lan | TurboMan | MetalMan | ColorMan | Ring |
Mayl | TurboMan | MetalMan | MegaMan | Ring |
Dex | TurboMan | ProtoMan | ColorMan | Ring |
Chaud | TurboMan | MetalMan | ColorMan | Ring |
Kai | ProtoMan | MetalMan | ColorMan | Ring |
Mary | TurboMan | MetalMan | ColorMan | ProtoMan |
Depending on the operator that was chosen for that save file, the generated Navi Code will register that operator and their Navi at the start of battle. In other players' games, the opponent AI will attempt to slot in a chip when the gauge is at a certain %.
Operator | Slot In % |
---|---|
Lan | 50% |
Mayl | 70% |
Dex | 30% |
Chaud | 70% |
Kai | 80% |
Mary | 80% |
Chat
When the player choose "Chat" with your NetNavi while editing the deck before a battle, the game will simulate 99 battles, giving an outlook to the outcome. After simulating the battles, the player will get a message depending on how many of the simulated battles were won:
