The Brother Band System is the main ability system for Mega Man Star Force 1.
Brother Band Stats
Each Brother has unique effects that can boost Mega Man.
In-Game Brothers
These are Brother Bands that can be encountered during the game's story. They'll gain levels as the player progress through the game, up to Level 60. They all will share the same satellite as Geo.
They cannot be cut until the story mode is completed. If they were to ever be cut afterwards, they can be re-Brothered by talking to that character.

Brother Band with other Games
These are Brother Bands that can only be made with other game carts. For other version Brother Band, the Level is equal to that player's Level at the time of Brothering. For Lunar Knights, the level is dependent on that player's progress.
For the 3 versions, the Brother Band will be assigned their respective satellites, which will allow access to the other Star Force forms.

Limited Distribution Brother
Legendary Master Shin is a special Brother Band that could only be downloaded during events. Like in-game Brothers, he'll gain levels as the player progress through the game, up to Level 60. He has no assigned Satellite.
He can be re-Brothered at his location on AMAKEN's roof.

Brother Force
If a Brother Card appears in the Custom Screen, it can be selected and a roulette will play. One of 6 Favorite Card that Brother has will be randomly selected for the player's use.
However, if the player is On Air with their Brothers, that Brother's equipped Best Combo can be used instead.
These Cards can be turned off in the Folder.
Data Update
By going On Air with Brothers, further game data will be shared.
SP Card Records
The SP Card Records are shared between Brothers, each players' lowest recorded time will be visible. The one with the lowest records of all the players will be every Brother's maxed SP card damage.
This is the only way to receive boosted Records for the Admin SP cards of other versions, as there is no way to fight all three in one game.
Comparing Library
The Library data are shared between Brothers. All cards that haven't been registered will be filled with their name but without their image and info.
