With the recent release of GBA titles for the Wii U Virtual Console, fans have been wondering whether Mega Man Battle Network would get the VC treatment. It seems we don’t have to wait very long; the Australian rating office OFLC has just re-rated Mega Man Battle Network 3: White and Blue as multi-platform games.
Usually, this indicates that a release is not very far off. However, Capcom has not made any sort of announcement yet. It’s also not clear whether Battle Network 1 and 2 will be coming to Virtual Console as well. Check back for more news!
UPDATE: Capcom has now officially confirmed with IGN that Battle Network 3 is coming to Virtual Console in North America, while a release in Europe and Australia is still up in the air. Additionally, other GBA titles may be coming as well.
