Mega Man Network Transmission OST Announced

Game Music Discovery Series: Rockman EXE Transmission Soundtrack CoverFollowing high fan demand, SuperSweep, the company that produced the music for Mega Man Network Transmission, has announced Game Music Discovery Series: Rockman EXE Transmission Soundtrack, a music album with all those catchy tunes from Rockman EXE Transmission, known in the West as Mega Man Network Transmission. MMNT’s music has been available in the form of a gamerip for some time, but this is the first time it will be sold as an actual album.

Though this shortly follows the announcements of the “Rockcan” Classic music soundtrack collection and new Classic rock/techno remix albums, this soundtrack bears no connection to them as it is not being released by Capcom. (However, it is of course possible SuperSweep decided to release this OST in celebration of the Blue Bomber’s anniversary!)

Mega Man Network Transmission was released in Japan in March 2003, over 9 years ago, and has been praised for its music. The OST will feature 28 tracks from the game and will be released in Japan for ¥2,625 (roughly $33.50 or €26), on the 2nd of November 2012 (that’s in less than a month!). For the time being, it can only be bought on the SweepRecordSHOP; there is no word as to whether it will be released stateside, so snag it while it’s available!
